making and wanting and writhing on the floor in Boston and New Jersey.

Tufts/SMFA 2025.

My interdisciplinary practice centers drawing and craft to celebrate growth, grief, and memory. I’m drawn to meticulous methods of making, whether it’s elaborate large-scale drawings, playful and collaborative public art, or intimately handheld prints and books. The time and attention required for these detail-driven processes are a sign of respect and a ritual of care, nurturing complex narratives with neglected histories. I’m interested in the link between the natural and surreal, and how dreamlike imagery manifests in our everyday lives as a way to cope with the bizarre obstacles that we are confronted with in our interconnected and globalized society. By sifting through and repurposing personal archives, collaging ephemera from memories and stories both familiar and generations away, my work builds lush and layered new worlds that embrace all the facets that make a person whole.
